Silver winners were just announced for the upcoming Nationals — the NAHB‘s largest and most prestigious annual awards competition — which means we have already sent out numerous eblasts and made abundant updates to the website. Next on our list is the Ceremony program brochure and the Winners book, which will be unveiled on January 31, immediately following the Awards presentation.

Our favorite and longest-term clients — Lisa and Shane Parrish from Peter Mayer Productions — have once again entrusted us with this incredible responsibility — and we continue to be grateful for their confidence in our abilities. We started working with Peter Mayer — the OG from TeamPMP — back in the 90s, and have been handling print and digital creative for NAHB — The National Association of Home Builders — for over a decade.

Established in 1982, The Nationals celebrates North America’s best in new-home sales and marketing, and recognizes outstanding achievements in architecture, interior design and landscaping.

This year’s color palette includes vibrant shades of magenta, coral and purple, and instead of one graphic we used a series of complementary elements for the first time in the event’s  history.

Each year, Weston/Mason Marketing designs the overall event graphics and applies them to The Nationals website, advertising and collateral. The campaign starts with the call-for-entries in July, continues through the judging process and culminates with the Gold Awards’ ceremony.

Along the way, we design, program and produce print and digital ads, direct mailers, eblasts and multiple website updates — with the purpose of generating entries, announcing finalists and promoting ticket sales. We also create an extensive digital flip book to showcase the winners, as well as a printed program for the live event. And starting in 2020, our assignment expanded when NAHB requested that we create the winners’ flipbooks for several of their other annual competitions.
